Friends, I encourage you all to go and learn more about the apartheid in#Gaza. We all tend to look back the at the World wars, Civil wars, Holocaust and apartheids and think to ourselves that it was completely unnecessary and that if we lived during those times we won’t have let it happen.

BUT Wake up !! Whats happening in Gaza right now is just that. So many innocent people behing killed in the worst possible ways. Have we lost our humanity ? We need to increase awareness so more people can learn and support the innocent.

Please make a short prayer for the people in Palestine.

If you don’t know where to start, check this short animation out. And please do share it among your family and friends. Its time that the world wakes up and does something about this before its too late.

I have come across a lot of people blaming the either religions for this crisis, but lets get it straight, this fight isn’t between religions. It is about fighting for justice, it would be wrong to blame Jews or Muslims for this battle. No religion preaches war. We need to stand up, we need to be bold so Palestine can get its freedom and both nations can live in peace.

Speak out & speak up.

A glimpse of Supermoon

What’s up Bloggers ?

I hope you are all doing well.

I know, I’ve been away yet again and I keep thinking to myself I will make a post but life gets busy and knowing very well I won’t be able to post anything long, I just don’t.

That is all going to stop however. I have decided to give blogging another chance by using another technique. I will be posting just anything exciting or interesting that happens each day whether it is a one-liner or a page’s worth of stories.

To get you all caught up with my life, let me start off with what I have been up to lately.

I am into my 3 month of summer —> post Year 1 at university. I am talking one summer course, so it hasn’t been all that busy, although Ramadan keeps me energized.

Ramadan Kareem to all my fellow muslims out there, I hope this beautiful month fairs each and everyone person well, whether you celebrate it or not.

Overall, I would say it has been a pretty dull year for me. I have tried numerous things however I have only ended up disappointing myself. Along the way though I have learnt a few lessons.

Number one being: Have faith. No matter who/what you have faith in, it takes you miles towards where you need to be, even if you don’t know where that is. This is pretty much how I feel right now, I don’t entirely know where I am going with my life but something gives me hope each day, only making me stronger and helping me perform better the next day.

Today I woke up pretty early and caught a glimpse of the Supermoon. So I got  my Canon out and went for a shoot 🙂 It was the most beautiful sight ever, to observe the moon so close. It gave me hope. Interestingly I came across a verse in the Quran from Chapter Ar-Rahman which talks about how the Sun and the Moon move along their orbits with precise calculation. If we think about it is true. The sun helps us calculate our day to day life and the moon helps us plan our month. SubhanAllah, even the planets around us teach us to keep a balance in our lives.

Here is picture of what I got in action. I am hoping to improve my photography skills with the days that come. Please do leave a comment letting me know what you think about it. 🙂

Supermoon 2014

Time for bed now but I hope I can come back tomorrow with something exciting to share, until then please take care.

Goodnight Bloggers !
